The exclusionary warranty is the best for new cars, as it offers coverage that is most similar to a manufacturer’s extended warranty. However, if you want very good coverage that’s a little gentler on the wallet, then the high-level plan is still a great option for new cars.
What Is the Best autopom! Extended Warranty for Used Cars?
For older new cars, the Powertrain coverage is sufficient. It covers the main components of the vehicle and can help you avoid some hefty repair fees. If you have a used car that’s a bit newer or low mileage, we suggest looking into the Mid-Level plan.

How to File a Claim with autopom!
Many people find it easy to file a claim through autopom! because of its customer-centric approach. You must wait at least 30 days and drive at least 1,000 miles to file your first claim.
Here is the process to file a claim if you need a repair:
Choose a licensed repair facility.- Show your coverage contract to the repair shop.
- The repair shop will contact autopom! to confirm coverage for the issue your vehicle has.
- If you meet the criteria for coverage, the claim will be paid directly to the repair shop.
- You must only pay your deductible.
Note that for coverage to apply, you cannot perform your own repairs or go to an unlicensed shop. You must take the vehicle to a licensed repair shop.
