Other EV Incentives Offered in Arizona
There are various incentives available to Arizona EV drivers for running and charging an electric vehicle. These include:
- Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) offers customers up to $1,000 in rebates for the installation of qualifying home charging equipment.
- Tucson Electric Power (TEP) gives its residential customers a rebate of up to $500 for buying home EV charging hardware. The exact amount is based on the amperage of the charger purchased, so browse their EV charging site before making your decision.
- Arizona Public Service company (APS) provides residential customers with a $250 rebate for buying a qualifying home charging station. The company also offers bill credits for EV owners who enroll in their programs to monitor charging habits, as well as preferential time-of-use (TOU) rates for off-peak charging.
- Salt River Project (SRP) offers a similar $250 rebate for home charging as APS, as well as bill credits for drivers who join the organization’s EV Community program.
