Pennsylvania has the following incentives in place for electric vehicles and associated purchases for charging:
- $2,000 rebate
- $1,500 rebate on plug-in hybrid electric vehicle

Incentives for Purchasing an EV in Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania offers a rebate for up to $2,000 off the purchase of a new electric vehicle.
To qualify, EV buyers must meet the following purchase criteria:
- Be a resident of Pennsylvania and meet set income caps (see state info link below.)
- Purchase a qualifying vehicle with a sale price of or less than $50,000.
- Submit rebate application within six months of purchasing the qualifying vehicle.
- Be one of the first 1,000 applicants before the current funding expires on June 30, 2023. Rebates may continue beyond this date, subject to available funding.
