New York offers a point-of-sale rebate for up to $2,000 off the purchase of a new electric vehicle.
To qualify, EV buyers must meet the following purchase criteria:
- Subject to range requirements and MSRP capped at $42,000.
- $2,000 rebate for vehicles with a range greater than 200 miles.
- $1,000 rebate for vehicles with range 40 to 199 miles.
- $500 rebate for vehicles with a range under 40 miles.
