Incentives for Purchasing an EV in Florida
Florida does not offer direct incentives for the purchase of a new electric vehicle.
Other EV Incentives Offered in Florida
There are a handful of local post-purchase EV incentives available in Florida. These include:
- The Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) offers a $200 rebate for customers who purchase or lease an electric vehicle.
- Customers of Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) can access a rebate of $100 after purchasing a new EV. KUA also offers $100 towards the purchase and installation of home EV charging hardware.
- Qualifying Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA) customers can apply for a credit of $7 per month for charging an EV during off-peak hours.
